Career Teachers to be Honored

MVEA will hold its annual reception to honor retiring teachers and teachers who have 20, 30 and 40 years of service in the Mounds View Public Schools.  This event will be held at the Mermaid on Tuesday, May 8th from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Annual Flower Sale

Spring is in the air and it's time to start thinking about spring planting.  Pletschers' is offering special prices on various bedding plants, hanging baskets and vegetables.  MVEA has added $2.00 to Pletscher's low price and will donate the extra proceeds to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf.  All orders need to be received NO LATER than Tuesday, May 1st.  Pick up at the MVEA office on Thursday, May 10th from 12:00 - 6:00 P.M.  If you need an order please contact the MVEA office.
